The Simple Past Tense


Simple past Tense is used for describing acts that have already been concluded and whose exact time of occurrence is known.
Simple Past Tense is a kind of tense which is used to describe an event or action that happened already in a certain time in  the past
The Frames Of Verbal
(+) Subject + verb II + complement
Example..
We visited my family.
 (-)  Subject + did not + verb II +   complement
Example..
We did not visit my family.
(?)  Did + subject + verb I + ?
Example..
Did we visit my family ?

The Frames Of Nominal…
(+) S + Was/Were + Complement
Example..
The tiger was thin
(-) S + Was/Were + Not + Complemen
Example..
The tiger was not thin.
(?) Was/Were + S + Complement + ?
Was the tiger thin?
